Verón and Sánchez in beast mode for McKinson and Cameron in London

Unbeaten top classified prospect Luis “Lucho” Verón and four division world champion Anahí “La Indiecita” Sánchez showed all their skills before their important bouts against undefeated Michael “The Problem” McKinson and Chantelle “Wham Bam Chan” Cameron, in the two main events of an exciting boxing night on Saturday, November 9th, at the York Hall of Bethnal Green, London, England, promoted by MTK Global, and a new challenge for Argentina Boxing Promotions, of Mario Margossian, which will be televised live on TyC Sports and ESPN, for Argentina and the whole American continent.

World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latino welterweight champion, “Lucho” Verón (17-0-2, 8 KOs), will face WBO European welterweight champion, “The Problem” McKinson (17-0, 2 KOs), in a highly expected clash between two top world classified welterweights, that will serve as a virtual eliminator bout.

In the other main event, former four division world champion “La Indiecita” Sánchez (19-4, 11 KOs) will face World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver lightweight champion, “Wham Bam Chan” Cameron (11-0, 7 KOs), in a WBC World super lightweight final title eliminator.

On Tuesday afternoon, they showed their sharp weapons and all of their skills at the training that took place at the well known Repton Boxing Club in Bethnal Green.

In a highly expected clash of top world classified prospects that will leave the winner on the verge of a world title, Verón, 27 years old, from José León Suárez, Buenos Aires, current # 6 of the WBO welterweight world ranking and former member of the Argentinean amateur national team, who has defended four times his WBO Latino belt, comes after last June 7th from a draw against Maximiliano Verón by split decision in Cutral Có, Neuquén, will have his great chance. Now he will face McKinson, 25, from Portsmouth, England, but resides in Belfast, Northern Ireland, # 12 of the WBO welterweight world ranking, former WBC Youth and WBC International Silver welterweight champion, comes after last July 20th, when he beat Rusian Evgeny Pavko by unanimous decision to obtain his WBO European crown in Brentwood, England.

“I feel better than ever. I have never been as strong, fast and well prepared as this time. This is the great challenge I have been waiting for. I thank my manager and promoter, Mario Margossian, for getting it to me. I am ready”, said Verón.

With confidence, he went on: “I know it is going to be a great fight. McKinson is a talented fighter but I came here to make a statement and with only one objective: to win”.

Sánchez, 28, from Pergamino, Buenos Aires, former World Boxing Association (WBA) World featherweight interim, International Boxing Federation (IBF) World super featherweight, WBA World lightweight, and WBA World super lightweight champion -also former South American featherweight monarch-, comes after last May 25th lossing against Jessica McCaskill by unanimous decision for the WBA and WBC World super lightweight titles in Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA. Cameron, 28, form Northampton, England, with a major amateur past, former International Boxing Organization (IBO) lightweight champion, comes after last July 20th, when she dominated Anisha Basheel by unanimous decision to defend her WBC Silver lightweight belt in Brentwood.

“I am in a great shape for this fight. Cameron is an excellent opponent, but I trust my skills and I’m sure I can beat her. I have faced the best in the planet, so none of this is new to me”, iniciated Sánchez.
