Rising prospect Facundo “Topo” Arce will face former olympian Ignacio “Nacho” Perrín, trying to conquer the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedebol featherweight vacant title, in a highly awaited direct rematch, at the main event of an exciting boxing night this Friday night at the Federación Argentina de Box (FAB), in Buenos Aires, Argentina, promoted by Argentina Boxing Promotions, of Mario Margossian, which will be televised live on TyC Sports at 10 pm., for Argentina and the whole American continent.
They know each other very well. On last September 27th, they fought to a majority draw for this same belt after an exciting battle in Buenos Aires. Now, Arce (10-2-2, 4 KOs), 24 years old, from Marcos Paz, Buenos Aires, #6 of the Argentinean lightweight ranking, who comes from a great strike of nine victories -ending over Martín Rocha- and two draws will try to shine and to repeat what happened in the first half of their clash to secure the crown. But Perrín (6-2-1, 1 KO), 34, from Buenos Aires, former Olympic representative in Rio de Janeiro 2016, as well as former captain of the Argentinean national amateur team, current #3 of the Argentinean featherweight ranking, who after initiating his pro career with victories in Mexico, Argentina -defeating Lucas Montesino among others- and even fighting in Puerto Rico, will aim to sustain the path of the second half, also to obtain his first belt.
In the co main event, in junior welterweight division, former South American and two time Latino champion, Martín “El Principito” Coggi (36-9-3-1 nc, 18 KOs), from Brandsen, Buenos Aires, faces also former South American and two time Latino monarch Sergio “El Ruso” Gil (19-13-2, 13 KOs), from Santa Rosa, La Pampa, in a matchup scheduled to six rounds.
Also, in heavyweight division, Leandro “La Bestia” Robutti (6-4, 4 KOs), from Buenos Aires, takes on Esteban “Ringo” Juárez (4-5, 3 KOs), from Del Viso, Buenos Aires, in a bout scheduled to four or six rounds.
In welterweight division, Mariano Sandoval (4-0, 2 KOs), from San Martín, Buenos Aires, faces Víctor Jaimes (1-4), from Nogoyá, Entre Ríos, in a bout scheduled to four rounds.
In welterweight division, Yoel “El Chacal” Peralta (2-1, 1 KO), from Del Viso, Buenos Aires, takes on Abel Giménez (0-1-1), from Tristán Suárez, Buenos Aires, in a bout scheduled to four rounds.
